City, suburban and even a few short trips. Despite their vocation, the horizon of Harlem boots does not end in the urban perimeter and these shoes have positively surprised us for their versatility.
These mid-length boots are made of full-grain leather, offering good comfort and considerable resistance in all conditions of use.
The Harlem have many merits: although of an imposing appearance and characterized by a rather rigid upper, in the saddle they manage to convey all the sensations necessary for safe and enjoyable driving.
The modulation to the gear lever and the brake is excellent, the support of the foot is safe and the ankle mobility is never in question.
Such strength is good for protection: this is due to the double density injected plates in the tip and in the ankle area.
The inner shell also includes a heel protection that offers support and protection on the back of the boot.
Few problems even in case of rain: the waterproof membrane creates a watertight barrier, but when it really starts to rain the low neck cannot offer total shelter.
In the saddle the Harlem turn out to be comfortable
Their main asset? As mentioned, versatility.
The Harlem offer an excellent overall performance in the most disparate conditions of use and are perfect for experiencing the bike in the city during the week and for taking the classic trip to the lake or in the mountains on weekends.
Maybe with an attached walk, because these boots don't create big problems even if they are used as "normal" shoes.
