In the wake of the success of the iconic Tech 10 and Tech 7, the new Tech 5 is a boot with an advanced multi-material and multi-panel structure that further strengthens the Alpinestars range of top-of-the-range cross and off-road boots. Equipped with an innovative, extremely light and durable microfibre frame, a biomechanical medial pivot system for levels of support and stability, as well as extensive, flexible bellows, the Tech 5 offers a high performance fit and high levels of comfort and durability.

• Men's cross-country boots
• Upper made of innovative abrasion-resistant microfibre with synthetic polymers in the toe area. The microfibre used offers high levels of water repellency, durability and improves lightness. The material ensures a regular fit over the long run, and is easy to clean and maintain.
• Elastic zones redesigned on Achilles tendon and arch of the foot in light microfibre to improve comfort, control and support.
• The main structure profiled in sophisticated polymers wraps the leg of the boot to ensure structural integrity and abrasion resistance allowing excellent levels of controlled flexion.
• Anatomically shaped tibial plate made of high modulus polymers for greater resistance to impact and abrasion. The plate allows greater freedom of fit and boasts a panel with Velcro® adjustment for a more secure and personalized closure.
• The biomechanical pin system on the medial side combines the upper and lower parts of the boot, offering front and back flexibility and structural support. Both the inner and lower upper panels are made of polymers specifically formulated with grip surfaces to maximize contact with the bike and improve abrasion resistance.
• TPR rear gaiter over the TPU calf protector to provide protection and comfort.
• The innovative hook closure system integrates polymers and fiberglass arms with impact-resistant aluminum closing bridges to improve durability and weight savings. - The hook closure system is equipped with a memory and a self-aligning quick coupling and release system for an easy and precise closure and greater safety and performance when driving. All hooks are easily replaceable. - TPU hook straps with ergonomic profile to promote high levels of front flexibility.
• Innovative twin-piece TPU one-piece shoe injected with excellent impact and abrasion resistance and unsurpassed levels of safety. The shoe is reinforced by an internal metal plate and a finger protection co-injected into a harder compound.
• The exclusive bimescola sole is integrated into the multi-density structure supporting the base of the foot. The sole offers greater durability, grip and driving sensitivity. The sole is replaceable.
• TPU heel plate connected with the liner and the lateral and medial TPU parts to provide protection and support.
• Soft polyfoam embraces ankles and instep to better absorb shocks. Comfort interior entirely in fabric.
• Replaceable anatomical EVA insole with fabric lining at the top.
• The Tech-5 boot is CE certified.
