What is a 9-axis inertial sensor? It is a sensor that includes a gyroscope, an accelerometer and a magnetometer; each of these measures 3 axes, which is why their union is able to measure the 9 axes of the spatial position. The presence of two sensors guarantees greater precision and accuracy.
It is called "differential inertial": double the source of information, halve the possibility of error.
