First time in the IXON range, this jacket is not 100% waterproof but water repellent : without membrane for a maximum of breathability. The design is strongly inspired from Zetec Jacket, big succès of this winter. This jacket is a PPE CE certified.

7 essential safety criteria
A Ce certified motorcyclist’s garment has been designed and developed in order to conciliate optimum protection and comfort of use. After manufacturing, it has been tested and approved by independent experts also referred to notified bodies. A certified garment combines and guarantees 7 essential safety points minimum:
1_IMPACT
The use of CE approved protectors is guaranteed. They increase choc absorption in zones corresponding to the most exposed body parts. Such protectors are compulsory on elbows and shoulders for jackets, on knees and hips for trousers. A Ce certified back protector is not an obligation, neither are knuckle protectors for gloves.
2_ABRASION
The simulation of sliding on asphalt shows that fabrics allowing CE certification are more resistant to abrasion.
3_TEARING
Fibbers nature and density bring a unique structure to the fabric that has stronger resistance to tearing compared to standard fabrics.
4_CUT
The simulation of the piercing of a material by an object in case of fall shows that fabrics limit the risk of cutting by impact as much as possible.
5_STITCHING
Stitching is tested to traction and improves the global resistance of the garment.
6_ERGONOMICS
Good ergonomic design ensures a good fit of the protectors and the garment when in use and especially in case of an accident.
7_NON-TOXIC
Toxicity tests ensure that no dangerous substance for the human body is contained in the garment materials.
