The protections are mandatory for elbows and shoulders on a jacket; pants are mandatory on the knees and hips. The back protector is not mandatory, as are the protections on the phalanxes for gloves.
2. Abrasion: Simulates the impact on the road caused by the fall of a motorcyclist. CE certified materials are significantly more resistant to abrasion. Ixon has selected and uses only a material capable of combining strength and maximum comfort: the Noxiguard. It is a 600D polyester whose Higt-Density texture and exclusive coating ensure excellent resistance.
3. Tearing: the fibers and their density confer a unique structure to the fabric and allow a higher resistance to tearing than the classic fabrics.
4. Cutting: simulates the penetration of a sharp object during a fall. CE certified materials reduce the risk of perforation.
5. Seams: the seams are tensile tested and improve the overall resistance of the garments.
6. Conservation of ergonomics: controls the ease of movements during use and the correct positioning of the protections inside the garment.
