- Polycarbonate outer shell: Nolan uses only LEXAN® polycarbonate of SABIC Innovative Plastics (already General Electric Plastics) for its products, a material usually used for visors: a material that is characterized by its extreme flexibility, capable of to ensure optimum performance, so excellent products for quality and safety.
- The helmet is manufactured with different sizes of caps depending on the size of the proposal and thus offers a perfect proportion between the volume of the helmet and the size of the biker, while keeping the degree of protection and safety unaltered.
- ULTRAWIDE VISOR: The wide scratch-resistant visor surface allows greater visibility, even sideways, thus providing maximum driving comfort and increased active safety. The innovative patent pending visor mechanism allows for a greater extension of the surface covered by the Pinlock® visor and reduces the risk of accidental opening and closing of the visor as well as infiltration of the visor.
- INTERIOR PANEL RESISTANT INSPECTION PINLOCK®: Supplied with silicon profile (FSB - Full Silicone Border). The patented Nolangroup exclusive control system allows adjusting the visor draw (Pinlock®) by acting from the outside of the visor and without requiring the removal of the visor itself.
- UV PARAMETER (VPS) SCREEN: Located inside the helmet, it is printed in LEXANTM * and includes S / R (Scratch Resistant) and F / R (Fog Resistant) . It offers UV protection up to 400 nanometers and can be easily dismantled when not necessary for maintenance and cleaning. The drive system (patented) allows automatic recall of the sun screen in unused position. - VENTILATION SYSTEM + AIRBOOSTER TECHNOLOGY: The exclusive "AirBooster Technology" ventilation system ensures optimum ventilation where the driver's head needs more: air is in fact drawn from the front air intakes and driven by force, without dispersion, in the most critical areas, in order to guarantee maximum comfort even under extreme driving conditions. The ventilation system also consists of: - air intake air vent allows ventilation at the mouth and air flows directly on the visor, limiting its fogging; - rear extractor integrated into a rear spoiler, allows the expulsion of hot and spoiled air.
- MICROLOCK2 (PATENTED): Retraction system with micrometric adjustment, double lever. This system is made up of an ergonomic opening lever in thermoplastic material and a second, toothed and sealing, aluminum. The toothed lever releases the micrometric band and therefore it is only possible to open the slider after the opening lever has been rotated very wide. Such an arrangement reduces the possibility of involuntary opening.
- COMPLETE CLIMATE CONNECTION: Conceived in a new design, it is made of double-density micro-perforated fabrics and, combined with the "AirBooster Technology" upper ventilation system, promotes air diffusion in the upper area of the pilot's head . The shape of the screen facilitates the fit of the helmet and protects it from annoying air infiltration in the chin area.
- GLOVES WITH SFODERABIL PADDING: To further facilitate washing, the pillows are fitted with internal foam padding that can be extracted from the fabric lining liner.
