Rev It started the project almost three years ago, defining what the ultimate adventure boots should be. Initially, it seemed like Mission: Impossible. But perseverance and sheer stubbornness prevailed. The result is truly amazing. It is one of those benchmark moments in terms of product development and engineering challenges that, when they will look back in a few years from now, will be defined as the beginning of a new era. For over a year, a selected group of highly experienced and knowledgeable adventure riders have accumulated over 100,000 kilometers of on and off-road test rides, under the harshest of conditions. It ranged from extreme hot-and-dry to soaking wet and freezing cold weather - and everything in between. The Expedition Outdry boots have already traveled more roads and visited more continents than even the most experienced adventure rider will ever explore in their lifetime. Rev It's test riders provided them with valuable feedback, which helped Rev It to continuously re-engineer, revise and remodel the prototype boots to perfection. Outer Shell

Leather Cowhide Nubuck WR Finish - Leather nubuck cowhide with the water repellent finish gives your product added protection against the elements.
Superfabric (Felt Reinforced) - Superfabric that is felt reinforced is found in Rev It's footwear. It offers more protection against impact and promotes heat retention.
Leather Full Grain Distressed WR Finish - Full grain leather with a distressed, water repellent finish gives your garment a more vintage look and offers additional protection against the elements. No need to sacrifice style for functionality here.

Waterproofing & Breathability

OutDry - OutDry uses a one-piece patented construction that creates a waterproof and surprisingly breathable barrier. This impenetrable layer is heat-bonded directly to the outer fabric, leaving no seams or gaps, and no way for water to get in. OutDry technology ensures the outer fabric won't pick up water while improving fit and dexterity, resulting in a lighter, more comfortable boot - and a drier foot.
Protection

Rev It|DSF (Dynamic Support Frame) - The unique, in-house developed Rev It|DSF (Dynamic Support Frame) offers maximum levels of protection without sacrificing comfort. The DSF limits hyper extension of the tendons and muscles. The three key components - the calf support, heel cup and stability frame - all work together as one system, allowing you to ride comfortably in any terrain, without worrying about your safety. It also provides flexibility and freedom of movement off the bike.
External TPU Shin Plate - The External TPU Shin Plate provides additional protection in the shin area against impacts of objects and debris.
SeeSoft at Tongue - The SeeSoft protectors reduces the energy transmitted to your leg by the impact of rocks and other road debris that may strike you while riding.
