The result of over five years of intensive study, development and testing: the Alpinestars Supertech M10 motocross helmet made its racing debut at the Anaheim Supercross in January 2018.

Alpinestars' approach to creating the advanced Supertech M10 technology draws on the experience of over a decade of world-class innovation across the motorsport spectrum and especially in its deep commitment to motocross. As in the other technological areas mastered by Alpinestars, creating a highly complex new product requires specialized experience and skills, and a project plan guided by the best minds in protection development.
The Alpinestars Helmet Development Department was therefore created, which was given the task of researching and developing the most protective, comfortable and lightest motocross helmet possible. The goal was to allow riders to push to the limit, benefiting from safety-inspiring technology, reduced weight distribution to reduce muscle strain on the neck, shoulders and back, improving physiological and cognitive performance with an incredibly well-fitting structure. and ventilated, optimizing driving comfort.

- Shell construction uses highly advanced molding technology with a multi-composite combination:
- 3K Carbon shell, an outer layer in high density carbon that improves the strength and efficiency of energy dissipation on the shell.

Thanks to a specific test facility in the Alpinestars Racing Development Center, the comprehensive impact program has resulted in linear and oblique impact performance far superior to current helmet standards. The performances on direct, linear impacts were higher by 41%, and in the case of rotational, oblique accelerations, by an average of 48%.
- The helmet is produced with caps of different sizes depending on the proposed size and thus allows to offer a perfect proportion between the volume of the helmet and the size of the motorcyclist, while maintaining the degree of protection and safety.

- MIPS is integrated into the Supertech M10 to reduce rotational energies impacting the helmet causing the transmission of harmful rotating forces to the brain.
