Description

The base of the protector is made of lightweight magnesium, the best material for absorbing impact: the upper mounting bushing is also made of magnesium, which can cushion the impact during a fall without transferring the load to the frame. The inner ring is of a special polymer that can cushion the hardest blows. Finally, the outer pad, the one that first comes into contact with the asphalt, has the task of resisting abrasion and being lightweight: therefore, it is made of a special glass-blend nylon.
